Hacky & Clammy are two in the sea of cartoon characters but so goddamn much more. Like any character-based cartoon they're representative of my family, friends and me. Then they're not; they could be people I come across, have read about or imagined. Sometimes they're vessels with which to illustrate some fleeting idea.
Sometimes they won't be in the strip themselves. Their ideas could be handed over to other characters or objects depending on who sez it best.
Physically, this is them in their first incarnation; I expect this to develop over time. Especially when they need limbs for something.
Right here I was going to explain the basic thematic point but it really doesn't matter. Either you'll think it worth your time to read or not.
I don't know about any of this and don't want to, that's the fun of it.
I do know they love each and every one of you. Fast, like a neutrino.
